The most obvious are libraries, repositories, and private collections and so they will also be listed first. All works found on this page were obtained through the Internet and will be peer reviewed, certified, or in some way verified as to the validity of its content. Libraries

Internet Public Library – Published by the IPL Consortium of colleges, this is a library of links on a wide variety of subjects from sources we can trust. The links listed return pages using a variety of media such as books, websites, and articles. It is also well laid out and easy to navigate. I usually keep a link to it somewhere on every educational site that I manage.

Free Management Library – Published by Authenticity Consulting, this is the ideal resource for anyone opening a business on a shoe string budget. It contains articles, texts, books, and links to informational websites and most of it written by experienced industry leaders. I have used this as a business reference resource as well as a source for up to date class material for several years. Very complete set of business instruction on every topic needed to complete their Free Micro e-MBA program and its Non-Profit version as well.

Refdesk – This all-around information site literally helped get me through college. Highly recommended, but don’t take my word for it, the site has a description that I couldn’t word any better myself so I’ve included it below:

“Refdesk is free and family friendly. The site is the single best source for facts on the Net; a one-stop site for all things Internet: news, weather, sports, reference, encyclopedia, facts on file, dictionaries and encyclopedias, tutorials, search engines, Windows Operating Systems Resources, free stuff, games and much more.

The site has 20,000+ quality links. Named by Yahoo! Internet Life Magazine, ‘Best Reference Directory for 2001 and 2002.’ Named by PC Magazine, ‘2003: Top 100 Web Sites.’ Selected by PC World Magazine, ‘2003: Best Research and Advice on the Web.’ Forbes Magazine names Refdesk ‘2003: Best Reference Sites.’ PC World Magazine names Refdesk ‘2004: Best Reference and News Resource.’

Gen. Colin Powell picked refdesk as his ‘favorite web site.’”
